LLE EXPANDS INTO THE MIDDLE EAST WITH NEW DUBAI OFFICE. THE ARCHITECTURE OF THE OFFICE HAS BEEN DESIGNED BY METROGRAMMA WITH THE AIM OF REINTERPRETING THE SPIRIT OF “ELEGANT AND BOURGEOIS” ATMOSPHERES TYPICAL OF THE MILANESE INTERIORS.

LUXURY LIVING ENGINEERING, contract division based in London of Luxury Living Group – Forlì, is expanding its global business opening a new office in the Middle East with a carefully selected location in the heart of D3(Dubai Design District). Newly built from the ground-up, D3 is Dubai’s fast-expanding Design District, which acts as a creative incubator of sorts for the city and for much of the Middle East. Here, the new branch will focus on meeting the thriving market needs within the Middle East and support the company’s growing client base in the region.

Metrogramma, as main design partener of LLE, signed the design of this new office, as well as the headquarters in London and the newly launched office in Beijing. METROGRAMMA FOR LUXURY LIVING CONTRACT, A DIVISION OF LUXURY LIVING GROUP – FORLì, IS DESIGNING THE INTERIOR OF A RESIDENTIAL LUXURY BUILDING FURNISHED BY FENDI CASA. THE BUILDING IS A PART OF A NEW BIG TRASFORMATION AREA CALLED BÜYÜKYALI.

The new residence building is located in front of the see in the context of Büyükyalı,  a new seaside neighborhood through an extension of the coastal line of Bosphorus. Büyükyali area will include other bildings with different mix use.

Metrogramma’s project is located in a residential tower of 17 floors with a privileged view of the sea and a view of Sultanhamet. The Interior Design proposal is therefore in line with the Fendi Casa brand’s mood, luxurious but at the same time elegant and refined, reflecting the values of attention to detail, constructive quality and style representative of the brand. The project provides for the definition of the Interior of different type apartments inside the tower (garden apartments, different size apartments in the center of the building, penthouses)  and the development of common areas, including those dedicated to condominium services.

METROGRAMMA designed an high-end apartment located on the top floors of a panoramic tower built in the ’50.

A domestic interpretation for luxe materials, open and flexible spaces, sharp geometry and elegant details.

Design collaboration with Annalisa Mauri.

The need to create open spaces and at the same time private rooms oriented Metrogramma to perform the space as a “flexible device”, where the rooms achieve the necessary privacy, while maintaining permeability and brightness. The focus leads to the idea of creating a “technical spine”, a linear stripe of 25 meters for 2,5 with its own visible and architectural identity. It’s a recognizable device, designed to accommodate all the technical elements of the house and various architectural elements needed for the flexibility of the space.

The geometrical theme flows through the detail and the spaces of the house as a general common denominator, from the different scales of the project: large geometric voids and solid forms are flexible and changeable. The spaces are drawn by geometry as well as the surfaces. The floor is a continuous element envisioned as a big rug. No space has been excluded; all areas of the house are democratically crossed by the same flooring, which gradually changes in color according to the use of the space.

Different and contrasting materials blend here in delicate balance collaborating all together to convey different feelings to who travel through those spaces.

The playful mood of Metrogramma brought to the design of a flexible space   playing with furniture and fittings to create a scenographic and dynamic space with no exceptions for the functional aim: the movable libraries transforming the living room into an art gallery, the boiserie covering and heating the space but at the same time playing with lights and transforming the corridors in art galleries.
